The master database solves three crucial requirements of an ideal data basis for companies:

Complete data basis
The DDW master database provides the complete inventory of all relevant companies with an annual turnover of about 5 million Euros or more. No less, but also no more. With this particular focus on the market players that acutally matter scattering losses and the typical data waste of many data stocks is prevented. This allows users to efficiently use their own valuable sales activities and resources.

Earlier market information
The economy is changing. DDW-Research therefore continuously reassesses the corporate landscape. Several times a year, an update of the database is made available, so that information about developments in companies is obtained earlier than from the competition.

Editorial verification
Each company is individually examined and evaluated, provided with a brief editorial description and ranked based on 19 indicators. Regular coordination takes place directly with companies. Thus, the DDW database is one of the very few independent data sources on the market.

What´s new in version 12 of the master database for 2020
The database has been expanded to over 45.000 data records. Among other things, a beta version now exclusively contains the ranking of the 10.000 most important austrian companies. Furthermore, in conjunction with the world maket leader list, which has been included since the last version, the database has been expanded to include groups and subsidiaries. In anticipation of the upcoming latest ranking project by DDW, German companies in foreign ownership are included for the first time. A new data column has been added for the identification of such companies, which also allows to sort companies by country of foreign ownership. Detailed information on products, number of countries supplied and foreign share of turnover German world market leaders has also been added.

• the Investor List Germany, Austria and Switzerland, which includes the 2,500 relevant investors, private equity houses, family offices or asset managers
• Background information and descriptions of all relevant company transactions in recent years („Who buys Whom“)
